This position places you within a large, dynamic hospital known for its breadth of specialized units, state-of-the-art technology, and diverse patient population. Collaborate with talented teams, broaden your expertise in acute care respiratory therapy, and gain hands-on experience with advanced ventilators and EPIC charting—all key additions to your resume that will enhance your future opportunities.

Schedule/Hours:

  • 36 hours per week
  • Night shift (straight nights); may rotate to 11a-11p as needed
  • Every other weekend required

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Respiratory Therapist in an acute care setting
  • Ventilator management experience required
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy
  • Current CRT or RRT credential from NBRC
  • Active Massachusetts Respiratory Therapist License
  • Competency in arterial blood gas draws
  • Familiarity with PB980 and Hamilton T1 Transport Ventilators
  • EPIC EMR experience preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive respiratory care to patients throughout a 371-bed hospital, including ICUs and Med/Surg units
  • Respond swiftly to emergent respiratory needs and support complex cases in high-acuity settings
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation in EPIC
  • Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams
  • Participate in patient and family education regarding respiratory care and equipment
