An excellent opportunity is available for a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to support adult critical care patients in a dynamic healthcare environment. This contract position features 3 x 12-hour night shifts, providing comprehensive care as part of a collaborative clinical team.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current and active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential is required
  • Experience in adult critical care settings strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with Hamilton ventilators is highly desirable
  • Proficiency in EPIC charting is a plus
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

Schedule:

  • 3 x 12-hour night shifts per week

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver evidence-based respiratory care to adult patients, including assessment, treatment, and evaluation
  • Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot ventilators (particularly Hamilton models) and other respiratory equipment
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams in critical care areas
  • Accurately document all assessments, interventions, and patient responses in EPIC electronic health records
  • Respond promptly to emergencies and provide advanced airway management
  • Educate patients and families on respiratory therapies and equipment usage
