Schedule:

• Night shifts: 6:30pm–7:00am
• Rotating weekends: 1 full weekend per schedule

Role Expectations:

• Carry out comprehensive patient assessments and therapeutic interventions, emphasizing protocol ventilator management and respiratory treatments
• Engage in patient and family education, addressing emotional and developmental needs
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, contributing to state-of-the-art patient care planning
• Mentor peers, students, and new staff members to foster continuous learning and development
• Maintain meticulous documentation and uphold electronic record accuracy
• Assist in both invasive and non-invasive procedures, plus perform pulmonary diagnostic testing as required

Qualifications:

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy (preferred)
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (NBRC-RRT) and Respiratory Care Professional (RCP) credentials
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP (NHRC or ARC variations accepted; NRP to be achieved within 180 days if provisional)
• Minimum 6 months of prior critical care experience required
• Demonstrated strong communication and critical thinking abilities; adept with electronic health records
