As a Registered Respiratory Therapist working with the pediatric population, you'll gain exposure to a broad range of advanced respiratory care practices and leadership styles. Schedule/Hours:

• Assignment is travel-based; schedule details to be discussed

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive Respiratory Care for pediatric patients, including medicated aerosol therapies (small volume nebulizers, vibrating mesh nebulizers, and more)
• Educate patients and families on aerosol, MDI, DPI therapies
• Provide advanced airway clearance and airway management (including tracheostomy care, CPAP/BiPAP, NIMV, ventilator checks)
• Participate in high-risk deliveries: surfactant administration, NRP protocol, T-piece ventilation, intubation
• Perform blood gas sampling, analysis, and interpretation
• Administer and monitor humidity therapy and various oxygen/special gas therapies, including inhaled nitric oxide and Heliox
• Monitor clinical parameters: pulse oximetry, capnography, ventilator graphics, transcutaneous CO2
• Assist with patient transport and neonatal rapid response interventions
• Maintain equipment cleanliness per protocols

Desired Qualifications:

• Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
• Demonstrated pediatric experience strongly preferred
• Proficiency in respiratory modalities and equipment listed above
• Effective communicator, patient educator, and team collaborator
