Schedule/Hours:
- Travel assignment; flexible scheduling may apply depending on departmental needs
Qualifications & Experience:
- Active credential as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- Pediatric respiratory therapy experience preferred
- Proficiency in advanced airway management: intubation assist, suctioning, tracheostomy care
- Knowledge of ventilator management: CPAP/BiPAP/NIMV, negative pressure ventilation, and NAVA
- Experience with medicated aerosol therapies and airway clearance therapies
- Familiarity with blood gas sampling, analysis, and interpretation
- Previous experience with neonatal protocols (NRP), surfactant administration, and high-risk delivery settings is a plus
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality pediatric respiratory care following best practices
- Administer a range of therapies: aerosol, MDI/DPI, hyperinflation, airway clearance, and mechanical ventilation
- Provide patient and family education for respiratory treatments
- Participate in neonatal rapid response and respiratory care consult services
- Maintain and calibrate respiratory equipment; ensure cleanliness and readiness for emergency transport
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on patient care and protocol development

$2,178 - $2,304/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
