Essential Qualifications:

• Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
• Valid state licensure for practice in Connecticut (or eligibility)
• Proven recent experience in acute care or hospital-based respiratory therapy
• Current BLS certification; ACLS preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, treat, and monitor patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary disorders
• Administer oxygen therapy, aerosolized medications, and chest physiotherapy
• Conduct ventilator management and perform diagnostic testing (e.g., ABGs, PFTs)
• Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff on developing comprehensive care plans
• Educate patients and families on respiratory care procedures and equipment
