Role Overview & Responsibilities:

• Deliver respiratory care for patients ranging from neonates to adults, following physician orders and established protocols.
• Assess, plan, and document patient care activities, ensuring high standards of safety and compliance.
• Operate ventilators, administer oxygen therapies, and perform diagnostic tests such as ABGs and pulmonary function testing.
• Provide patient and family education regarding respiratory illness, treatments, and equipment use.
• Maintain up-to-date patient records and collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
• Contribute to emergency response situations, including code blue teams, as needed.

Qualifications:

• Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential.
• Current state license to practice as an RRT.
• BLS certification (additional certifications such as ACLS or PALS are highly desirable).
• Strong critical thinking skills and ability to work independently.
• Previous experience in a hospital or acute care setting preferred.
