Schedule:

  • Three 12-hour shifts per week, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
  • Rotating weekends required

Qualifications:

  • Valid and current credential as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
  • Advanced clinical skill set in critical care and emergency respiratory therapy
  • Proficient in aerosol therapy, Ventilator/BiPAP management
  • ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required
  • Experience with equipment such as Puritan Bennet 980 ventilators, Vapotherm, Phillips V60+, and Seimens EPOC bedside ABG analyzers
  • Familiarity with the Meditech documentation system preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Perform, monitor, and document a full range of respiratory therapy procedures
  • Manage ventilators, BiPAP, and other advanced respiratory devices
  • Rotate throughout all inpatient units, including two 10-bed ICUs, providing support for intubation, arterial line insertion, and bronchoscopy assistance
  • Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary team members in daily rounds to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Provide exceptional patient experiences using AIDET communication techniques
  • Uphold high standards of care in alignment with core values of compassion, integrity, and teamwork
