Key Qualifications:

  • Current license as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
  • Successful completion of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
  • Valid certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
  • Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
  • Ability to remain calm and efficient in high-pressure situations
  • Previous experience in acute care or hospital settings preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive respiratory assessments and administer prescribed respiratory therapy treatments
  • Respond promptly and appropriately to emergency situations such as rapid response and code blue events
  • Monitor, evaluate, and document patient response to therapy, making adjustments as indicated
  • Educate patients and families on respiratory care procedures and equipment
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in accordance with facility regulations
  • Operate and maintain respiratory equipment, including ventilators and oxygen delivery systems
