Qualifications and Experience:

• Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
• Valid state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist
• Demonstrated experience providing comprehensive respiratory therapy in acute care or hospital settings
• Strong knowledge of ventilators, airway management, and pulmonary diagnostics
• Evidence of current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; ACLS, PALS, or NRP preferred
• Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer therapeutic respiratory treatments and diagnostic procedures based on physician orders and established protocols
• Perform ventilator management, monitor patient responses, and adjust interventions as needed
• Assess patient status, interpret laboratory/diagnostic data, and document care thoroughly and accurately
• Educate patients and families on respiratory therapies, equipment use, and self-care techniques
• Respond promptly to emergency situations and participate actively in code responses or rapid response teams
• Ensure a safe, clean, and organized workspace following infection control guidelines
