Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Moundville, Alabama

As a Registered Respiratory Therapist, you’ll work within a dynamic Medical Respiratory Unit, caring for patients with acute and chronic respiratory concerns such as pneumonia, COPD, and various lung diseases. The 42-bed unit, which features an 8-bed respiratory step-down section, provides exposure to a diverse patient population, including those with GI issues, diabetes, and occasional stroke and surgical cases. Daily interdisciplinary team rounds foster collaborative learning, while floating to different units and facilities broadens your professional perspective.

Schedule/Hours:

• Flexibility to work either 36 or 48 hours per week
• Holidays coverage as required
• Every other weekend required

Qualifications:

• Associate degree in nursing
• Registered Nurse licensure in Alabama or Compact (temporary licenses not accepted)
• AHA BLS or Red Cross certification
• Minimum 2 years of experience (will consider 18 months with at least 1 year of recent specialty experience and practice under the highest licensure)
