Schedule/Hours:

  • Travel assignment with variable shifts (details provided during interview)

Qualifications:

  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential is required
  • Must be licensed or eligible for licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in Michigan
  • Experience in acute care or specialty hospital environments strongly preferred
  • NICU experience or willingness to float to the NICU is essential
  • Ability to collaborate effectively and work with diverse clinical teams

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive respiratory therapy to patients of all ages, including neonates in the NICU
  • Implement respiratory care plans in conjunction with medical staff
  • Monitor and document patient progress, responding promptly to changes in condition
  • Operate advanced equipment and participate in ongoing staff education
  • Ensure best practices for infection control and patient safety
