Key Qualifications:

  • Current credential as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
  • Active state licensure (or eligibility to obtain before start)
  • Proficiency in performing and interpreting pulmonary function tests, arterial blood gases, and providing respiratory care modalities
  • BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
  • Prior acute care or critical care experience strongly desired
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive respiratory care, including assessment, treatment, and monitoring of patients with cardiopulmonary disorders
  • Collaborate with physicians and multi-disciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
  • Operate and maintain respiratory equipment and life-support systems
  • Educate patients and families on equipment usage, therapy regimens, and wellness strategies
  • Ensure accurate recordkeeping and compliance with safety policies and best practices
