As a Registered Respiratory Therapist on a travel assignment, you’ll be immersed in a progressive healthcare environment that exposes you to a wide spectrum of cases and advanced respiratory care techniques. Schedule/Hours:

  • Travel position

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive respiratory assessments and interventions for patients with acute and chronic pulmonary issues
  • Administer, monitor, and adjust mechanical ventilation and respiratory therapy as ordered
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other multidisciplinary staff to develop and implement tailored care plans
  • Educate patients and families on respiratory care techniques and equipment use
  • Perform arterial blood gas analysis and interpret results to guide therapy
  • Maintain accurate patient records in accordance with regulatory standards

Required Qualifications:

  • Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
  • Valid state licensure as required by New Jersey
  • Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred)
  • Previous hospital-based experience preferred
  • Strong adaptability, critical thinking, and communication skills
