Schedule/Hours:

• Travel position; schedule provided upon assignment

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver intensive respiratory care and manage patient transport as medically prescribed
• Evaluate patients and recommend individualized treatment plans
• Educate patients and families about respiratory care, treatment procedures, and equipment
• Perform and monitor physician-prescribed treatments including invasive and non-invasive ventilation, pulmonary function studies, oximetry, and capnography
• Execute chest physiotherapy, suctioning, tracheostomy care, arterial punctures, and endotracheal tube management
• Provide critical support during procedures such as bronchoscopies and chest tube placements
• Maintain accurate records, ensure quality control, and actively participate in shift handovers

Desired Qualifications:

• Registered Respiratory Therapist with current certification and valid state licensure
• Experience in acute/critical care, rehab, or similar hospital settings strongly preferred
• Proficient in advanced respiratory therapy techniques and equipment
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and teamwork skills
