Desired Qualifications:

• Current license and credentials as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
• BLS and ACLS certification
• Previous critical care or rehab experience is preferred
• Familiarity with invasive and non-invasive ventilatory equipment
• Strong communication and patient education skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide intensive respiratory care and safe patient transport
• Evaluate patients and recommend tailored treatment plans
• Deliver physician-prescribed treatments, including medication administration and ventilatory support
• Perform chest physiotherapy and various patient suctioning techniques
• Conduct pulmonary function studies, 12-lead EKGs, and capnography monitoring
• Assist in procedures such as bronchoscopy, chest tube, and tracheostomy care
• Monitor, maintain, and document the operation and performance of respiratory equipment
• Participate in hands-off communication and maintain accurate charging records
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
