Schedule/Hours:

  • Night shifts: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
  • Every other weekend required

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
  • Minimum of 2 years’ recent experience as an RRT
  • Demonstrated experience in managing care in high-volume trauma environments
  • Strong assessment, critical thinking, and patient communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Current BLS certification (additional certifications preferred)

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan, and implement respiratory care interventions for patients with acute or chronic respiratory disorders
  • Respond promptly to respiratory emergencies and trauma cases, delivering high-quality intervention under pressure
  • Operate and manage ventilators, perform airway management, and administer therapies such as oxygen, aerosol, and medication treatments
  • Monitor patient responses, document care provided, and collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to adjust care plans
  • Maintain and troubleshoot respiratory equipment, ensuring all safety standards are met
  • Educate patients and families on ongoing respiratory therapies and procedures
