Qualifications/Experience:

• Active Registered Respiratory Therapist credential
• Minimum 2-3 years of current experience, including recent independent bedside management of ventilated patients
• Proficient experience with the Servo U ventilator in a NICU setting
• Familiarity with ventilator settings, modes, and troubleshooting
• Additional proficiency with Drager, Bunnell Jet Vent, Sensormedic 3100A oscillator, and Nitric Oxide (preferred)
• Ability to adapt in high-acuity, fast-paced environments
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills

Responsibilities:

• Independently manage and monitor ventilated patients in neonatal and pediatric intensive care units
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals to deliver optimal respiratory support
• Operate a range of ventilatory equipment, adjusting modes/settings as required
• Educate families and provide compassionate patient care
• Respond swiftly to emergency situations and provide life support as needed
• Document treatments and patient responses accurately
