As a Registered Respiratory Therapist on this travel contract, you'll gain invaluable experience working within a dynamic healthcare environment. Schedule/Hours:

• Full-time travel contract

Core Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, and execute respiratory care for patients of all ages with acute or chronic conditions.
• Conduct diagnostic tests, including ABGs and pulmonary function evaluations, under physician direction.
• Operate and monitor mechanical ventilation systems and other respiratory equipment.
• Administer therapeutic interventions such as aerosol medications and oxygen therapy.
• Educate patients and families on treatments, equipment use, and self-care.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure top patient outcomes.
• Maintain meticulous documentation in accordance with clinical and regulatory standards.

Qualifications & Experience Sought:

• Current certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
• Valid state licensure (or eligibility)
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program
• BLS and ACLS certifications (or willingness to obtain)
• Previous experience in acute care settings preferred
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
