Desired Qualifications:

• Valid certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
• Active and unencumbered state license for Respiratory Therapy (or eligibility to obtain prior to assignment start)
• Previous clinical experience in acute care or hospital settings preferred
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication abilities
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS preferred
• Flexibility to adapt to new environments and patient populations

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide respiratory care services, treatments, and diagnostic procedures as ordered by physicians
• Assess, plan, and evaluate patient care using evidence-based practices
• Administer oxygen, mechanical ventilation, aerosol medications, and chest physiotherapy
• Monitor patient responses and document care using electronic health records (EHR)
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Offer education and support to patients and their families regarding respiratory care
