Situated in Brandon, FL, this facility has a 422-bed capacity and includes a 36-bed Level 3 NICU unit. The hospital is known for employing cutting-edge equipment including Drager VN500 ventilators, 3100A oscillators, Mallinckrodt Nitric Oxide, and Vapotherms, supporting a team of skilled respiratory therapists. Key Responsibilities
- Manage ventilators including conventional and high-frequency oscillatory ventilation
- Attend to high-risk deliveries providing immediate respiratory support
- Administer surfactant and nitric oxide treatments
- Perform blood gas sampling and interpretation
- Collaborate with NICU staff to maintain patient stability and optimize respiratory function
Desired Experience and Qualifications
- Registered Respiratory Therapist credential required
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in Level 2 NICU; Level 3 NICU experience strongly preferred
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
- STABLE certification is a plus
- Strong critical thinking skills, ability to work independently, and detail-oriented mindset
Schedule and Benefits
