Schedule/Hours
- 36 hours per week
- Days/Evenings Rotation; Every Other Weekend required
- Possible rotation to 11a-11p shifts as needed; Night shifts are straight nights
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist in an acute care setting
- Proficiency in ventilator management and drawing arterial blood gases
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy
- Vent experience required
- Current CRT or RRT credential from the NBRC
- Active Massachusetts Respiratory Therapist License
- Experience with EPIC EMR preferred
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver safe and effective respiratory care to patients across ICU, Med/Surg, ED, and specialty units
- Operate advanced equipment including the PB980 and Hamilton T1 Transport ventilators
- Perform and interpret arterial blood gas analyses
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Adapt to various shift assignments and unit needs
