This opportunity offers the unique benefit of collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in a 371-bed hospital, exposing you to a broad range of clinical environments including a Medical/Surgical unit, ICU, Emergency Department, Labor and Delivery, and a Level 2B Nursery. You’ll expand your clinical and technical skill set while mastering advanced therapies and working with innovative equipment such as the PB980 and Hamilton T1 Transport Ventilator. Navigating diverse workplace practices and leadership styles will grow your expertise and bolster your resume.
Schedule:
- 36 hours per week
- Night shifts; every other weekend required
- Night positions are consistently straight nights
- Day shift may rotate to 11a-11p as needed
Desired Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of recent respiratory therapy experience, including ventilator management in acute care
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy
- Competency in arterial blood gas sampling
- Current CRT or RRT certification from NBRC
- Active Massachusetts Respiratory Therapist License
- EPIC EMR experience preferred
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive respiratory care across varied patient populations—ICU, Med/Surg, ED, and nursery
- Manage complex ventilator setups, including both standard and transport units
- Support safe, effective patient transfers and respiratory therapies in collaboration with nursing and physicians
- Efficiently document assessments, interventions, and outcomes using EPIC
