This is a unique opportunity for Registered Respiratory Therapists skilled in acute care, NICU, PICU, and emergency care settings. Working alongside a dynamic team of 14–16 RRTs, you’ll engage with a diverse patient population in a tertiary, teaching, and Level 1 trauma hospital. Schedule

  • 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM shifts
  • 36 guaranteed hours per week
  • Rotating weekends
  • On-call required (2 hours for the incoming shift)

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years previous RRT experience
  • Background in tertiary or teaching hospital settings required
  • Level 1 trauma experience strongly preferred
  • Expertise in acute care, NICU/PICU, pediatric & adult critical care, and the emergency department
  • BLS certification required; ACLS preferred, NRP required for NICU assignments
  • Excellent communication; adaptable and collaborative team player

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality respiratory therapy across diverse units
  • Float to NICU, PICU, acute care pediatrics, ED, and adult critical care as needed
  • Manage wide-ranging ventilator systems (Drager, Hamilton, Respironics, Trilogy, etc.)
  • Utilize EPIC for all charting
  • Contribute to a culture of safety, flexibility, and excellence in patient care
