Qualifications:
- Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility for Washington licensure)
- Previous experience in acute care or hospital settings preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
- Strong communication, clinical assessment, and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality respiratory care to acutely ill and chronically compromised patients
- Administer treatments, manage ventilator support, and monitor patient progress
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and revise care plans
- Educate patients and families on therapies, breathing techniques, and equipment use
- Accurately document interventions and patient outcomes
