Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
• Valid VT Respiratory Care Practitioner license (or eligibility)
• Minimum of 1 year of recent acute care or hospital-based respiratory therapy experience
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• BLS and ACLS certifications required

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and monitor advanced respiratory care procedures including, but not limited to, oxygen therapy, mechanical ventilation, and airway management
• Conduct diagnostic tests such as arterial blood gases and pulmonary function studies
• Collaborate closely with multi-disciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Provide patient and family education on respiratory care management
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the electronic health record
