Schedule:
- Night shifts
- 36 hours per week guaranteed
- No on-call requirements
- Weekend rotations included
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Registered Respiratory Therapist licensure required
- Minimum two years’ experience in ICU, ER (including pediatric patients needing intubation/mechanical ventilation), and Nursery (Level 1) with participation in high-risk deliveries and resuscitation
- Proficient with Drager V500, Hamilton T-1 ventilators, Neo Puff, and EPIC EMR
- Certifications: NRP, BLS, ACLS, PALS
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Experience in NICU or PICU, highly preferred
- Team-oriented, effective communicator, and a positive, professional demeanor
Core Responsibilities:
- Float throughout the hospital (newborn to adult patients)
- Manage ventilators and high-flow oxygen delivery systems
- Attend high-risk C-section deliveries and participate on the resuscitation team
- Provide care in a variety of settings including adult ICU, inpatient floors, ER, and the nursery
- Document accurately using EPIC
- Complete ongoing education modules as assigned
