As a Registered Respiratory Therapist, you will:
Schedule/Hours:
- Structured shifts with ample downtime to enjoy the local area.
Qualifications:
- Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
- Current state licensure or eligibility to obtain (MA)
- BLS certification (required), ACLS preferred
- Recent experience in acute care or hospital-based respiratory therapy
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Adaptability to varied patient populations and workplace protocols
Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, and provide respiratory care for patients with acute or chronic disorders
- Administer oxygen therapy, aerosolized medications, and IPPB treatments
- Perform ventilator management, blood gas analysis, and patient assessments
- Document clinical interventions and patient responses accurately
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Participate in code response and advanced airway management as needed
