Qualifications:

  • Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
  • Valid Massachusetts licensure (or eligibility)
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Previous acute care or hospital experience strongly preferred
  • Excellent critical thinking and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan, and implement respiratory care for patients in various acute care settings
  • Administer therapeutic, diagnostic, and emergency respiratory procedures
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans
  • Monitor, evaluate, and document patient response to treatments
  • Educate patients and families on respiratory therapies as needed
