Schedule/Hours:

  • Travel position with flexibility for days or nights (specific scheduling to be determined with facility needs).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic and pulmonary function tests with precision and accuracy.
  • Develop, implement, and adjust respiratory treatment plans to meet patient needs.
  • Monitor and document patient progress while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.
  • Conduct phlebotomies and proficiency in starting/removing IVs as needed.
  • Educate patients and families on respiratory therapies and the correct use of equipment.
  • Work within a critical access hospital, providing adaptable and comprehensive care.
  • Deliver specialized care to neonatal patients; NICU experience is essential.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Current and valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential.
  • Proven experience in a NICU setting is required.
  • Competency in performing phlebotomy and IV therapy.
  • Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach.
