Qualifications & Experience:

• Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license
• Prior experience in critical care or rehab settings preferred
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Proficiency with invasive and non-invasive ventilator management
• Strong communication and patient education abilities

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver intensive respiratory care and manage patient transports
• Assess patients and develop individualized treatment plans
• Perform and explain respiratory treatments, ventilator management, and medication administration
• Execute advanced procedures, including chest physiotherapy, oximetry, capnography, and pulmonary function studies
• Manage airway care, including suctioning, tracheostomy care, arterial punctures, and chest drainage
• Support procedures such as bronchoscopy and chest tube placement as needed
• Accurately document treatments and patient responses; report findings to physicians
• Participate in shift hand-offs with comprehensive, detailed communication
• Maintain equipment functionality and collaborate on preventative maintenance
