Qualifications:

• Registered Respiratory Therapist license in good standing
• Associate's or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• Previous experience in acute or critical care settings preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer nebulizers, perform suctioning, chest physiotherapy, and manage secretion clearance
• Conduct capnography and oximetry monitoring, chest x-ray reviews, EKGs, and pulmonary function assessments
• Assist with bronchoscopies, chest tube placements, and manage tracheostomy care
• Insert and remove endotracheal tubes, perform arterial punctures, and ensure efficient ventilation
• Follow lab testing protocols, handle specimen processing, and maintain regulatory documentation
• Oversee equipment maintenance, monitor mechanical ventilation, and record comprehensive patient care notes
• Communicate effectively within multidisciplinary teams, ensuring continuity of care during shift handoffs
