Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive respiratory care for a wide range of patient needs, including assessment, treatment, and evaluation
- Operate and maintain respiratory equipment such as ventilators, nebulizers, and oxygen delivery systems
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and update patient care plans
- Respond promptly to emergency codes and perform life-saving interventions as required
- Document all interventions and outcomes in accordance with facility standards and regulations
- Educate patients and families on respiratory therapies, care processes, and equipment use
Qualifications:
- Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
- Current state licensure (or eligibility)
- BLS certification (required)
- ACLS certification (preferred)
- Previous experience in acute care or hospital settings strongly preferred
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
