Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist - Tallahassee, FL

Schedule:

• Three 12-hour shifts per week
• Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Rotating weekends required

Qualifications:

• Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
• Valid certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP
• Experience in Critical Care & Emergency Care settings
• Comfortable with a range of respiratory procedures, including ventilator management, bipap management, and aerosol treatments
• Proficiency with advanced technology such as Puritan Bennet 980 ventilators, Vapotherm, Phillips V60+, and Siemens EPOC ABG analyzers
• Familiarity with Meditech documentation system is a plus
• Professional, compassionate approach with strong communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform assessments and deliver respiratory interventions in accordance with latest standards of care
• Manage a variety of advanced respiratory therapies and equipment across all inpatient units, including two 10-bed ICUs
• Collaborate closely with nursing and medical teams during daily department rounds
• Provide patient-centered care using the AIDET approach
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of clinical activities
• Float as needed to cover all inpatient respiratory care units
