Schedule:
- Three 12-hour shifts per week
- Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Rotating weekends required
Qualifications:
- Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
- Valid certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP
- Experience in Critical Care & Emergency Care settings
- Comfortable with a range of respiratory procedures, including ventilator management, bipap management, and aerosol treatments
- Proficiency with advanced technology such as Puritan Bennet 980 ventilators, Vapotherm, Phillips V60+, and Siemens EPOC ABG analyzers
- Familiarity with Meditech documentation system is a plus
- Professional, compassionate approach with strong communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform assessments and deliver respiratory interventions in accordance with latest standards of care
- Manage a variety of advanced respiratory therapies and equipment across all inpatient units, including two 10-bed ICUs
- Collaborate closely with nursing and medical teams during daily department rounds
- Provide patient-centered care using the AIDET approach
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of clinical activities
- Float as needed to cover all inpatient respiratory care units
