Qualifications:

  • Current and valid license as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
  • Credentialed by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
  • BLS and ACLS certifications (as required)
  • Recent experience in acute or critical care settings preferred
  • Excellent communication, assessment, and clinical decision-making skills

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, treat, and care for patients with breathing or cardiopulmonary disorders
  • Monitor and manage ventilator support, oxygen therapy, and pulmonary function testing
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to create individualized patient care plans
  • Educate patients and families on respiratory therapy procedures and disease management
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation
