Schedule/Hours

  • Evening/Night Shifts: 18:30 – 07:00
  • Weekend rotation: Every other weekend
  • Holiday expectations: Flexible, with 75% coverage

Required Qualifications & Certifications:

  • Active NC Respiratory Therapist license
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
  • BLS & ACLS for Adult RTs; BLS, PALS, and NRP for NICU/Peds RTs
  • Minimum 2 years of critical care experience
  • High-acuity/Level 1 trauma experience strongly preferred
  • Competence with advanced respiratory equipment (Servo U, Servo Air, The Vest, Volara, etc.); pediatric experience including HFJV and HFOV preferred

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive respiratory care to diverse patient populations, including ICU, surgical, and ED cases
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Utilize EPIC EMR and advanced ventilation and airway clearance technologies
  • Adapt quickly to dynamic patient needs and varying care settings
