Schedule:
- 12-hour rotating night shifts
- Nights rotate each week, every other weekend
Essential Qualifications:
- CRT or RRT credentialed and active Ohio Respiratory Care Board license required
- Minimum of 1 year of respiratory therapy experience preferred
- Open to working with neonatal/infant patients (will train as needed)
- BLS required; NRP highly preferred
- Familiarity with ventilators (980 Vents), high flow nasal cannula, and related respiratory technology
- Experience with invasive/noninvasive diagnostic procedures, critical care, and respiratory medication delivery
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver critical respiratory care in ER, ICU, CVICU, NICU step down, and med-surg units
- Participate in procedures including tracheostomies, bronchoscopies, Bronchial Alveolar Lavage, arterial lines, and intubations
- Educate patients and families on disease management and home care
- Accurately document patient medical records, following hospital and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal cardiopulmonary status
