Schedule/Hours:

Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
• Active state licensure or eligibility for Vermont
• Experience in acute care and/or critical care settings preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS certificates (preferred or as required by facility)
• Proven ability to quickly adapt to new environments

Responsibilities:

• Assess, evaluate, and treat patients with respiratory disorders and compromised cardiopulmonary function
• Administer therapeutic procedures such as oxygen therapy, airway management, and ventilator care
• Educate patients and their families about procedures and care plans
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to deliver effective treatment plans
• Document patient progress and perform regularly scheduled assessments
• Maintain and calibrate respiratory equipment
