Schedule/Hours:
- Full-time travel assignment (specific hours will be discussed during the interview process)
Qualifications:
- Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
- Active state licensure or eligibility for Vermont
- Experience in acute care and/or critical care settings preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS certificates (preferred or as required by facility)
- Proven ability to quickly adapt to new environments
Responsibilities:
- Assess, evaluate, and treat patients with respiratory disorders and compromised cardiopulmonary function
- Administer therapeutic procedures such as oxygen therapy, airway management, and ventilator care
- Educate patients and their families about procedures and care plans
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to deliver effective treatment plans
- Document patient progress and perform regularly scheduled assessments
- Maintain and calibrate respiratory equipment
