Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Westbrook, Maine

Schedule/Hours:

• Nights
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• No call requirements
• Rotating weekends as needed

Key Qualifications:

• Active RRT license
• Minimum 2 years’ experience, including ICU and adult critical care
• Expertise with ER respiratory therapy, including pediatric patients requiring intubation and ventilation
• Proven ability to work in Level 1 Nursery: attend high-risk cesarean sections, participate in resuscitation teams
• Comfortable floating across all hospital areas (newborn to adult population)
• Familiarity with Drager V500, V60 bipap, Hamilton T-1, Airvo high flow, neopuff, Ram cannula
• EMR proficiency with EPIC
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS
• NICU and PICU experience strongly preferred
• Team-oriented, positive communicator, and adaptable

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality respiratory care to a wide age range: newborns through adults
• Participate in emergency interventions, including high-risk deliveries and pediatric resuscitations
• Assess, initiate, and manage mechanical ventilation and advanced respiratory modalities
• Accurately document patient care in EPIC
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure exceptional patient outcomes
