Schedule/Hours:
- Nights
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
- No call requirements
- Rotating weekends as needed
Key Qualifications:
- Active RRT license
- Minimum 2 years’ experience, including ICU and adult critical care
- Expertise with ER respiratory therapy, including pediatric patients requiring intubation and ventilation
- Proven ability to work in Level 1 Nursery: attend high-risk cesarean sections, participate in resuscitation teams
- Comfortable floating across all hospital areas (newborn to adult population)
- Familiarity with Drager V500, V60 bipap, Hamilton T-1, Airvo high flow, neopuff, Ram cannula
- EMR proficiency with EPIC
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS
- NICU and PICU experience strongly preferred
- Team-oriented, positive communicator, and adaptable
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality respiratory care to a wide age range: newborns through adults
- Participate in emergency interventions, including high-risk deliveries and pediatric resuscitations
- Assess, initiate, and manage mechanical ventilation and advanced respiratory modalities
- Accurately document patient care in EPIC
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure exceptional patient outcomes
