What You’ll Need:

• Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
• Valid and current state licensure as required
• Minimum of 1 year acute care or hospital-based experience
• Strong communication and critical thinking abilities
• BLS and ACLS certification (as required)
• Adaptability to new electronic medical record systems and protocols

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, and implement respiratory therapy treatments for patients of all ages
• Conduct diagnostic evaluations and administer prescribed medications
• Manage ventilators, airway care and emergency interventions as needed
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
• Document patient information accurately in compliance with established regulations
• Educate patients and family members on therapies and home care procedures
