Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
• Current state licensure (or eligibility)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS preferred
• Prior acute care experience strongly preferred
• Excellent communication and critical-thinking skills

Responsibilities:

• Assess, treat, and care for patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary disorders
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including ventilator management, airway management, and blood gas analysis
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
• Educate patients and families on respiratory treatments and home care protocols
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all hospital protocols and safety standards
