Working as a Registered Respiratory Therapist II in this dynamic travel assignment provides immersion into a multidisciplinary environment, especially in critical care settings. Schedule/Hours:

  • Night shifts: 6:30pm–7:00am
  • Includes one full weekend (Saturday and Sunday) per schedule

Required Qualifications:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy (Bachelor’s preferred)
  • Current licensure as a Registered Respiratory Therapist and Respiratory Care Professional (NBRC-RRT, RCP)
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (instructor level accepted)
  • NRP certification within 180 days of hire
  • Minimum 6 months’ critical care clinical experience
  • Strong skills in assessment, communication, and critical thinking
  • Pediatric, critical care, and emergency department experience required

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer, assess, and manage advanced respiratory care in high-acuity settings
  • Perform ventilator management and related therapies (intubation, extubation, trach care)
  • Collaborate in patient care planning and interdisciplinary rounds
  • Educate patients, families, and staff; mentor peers and new team members
  • Ensure accurate documentation, order verification, and adherence to safety protocols
  • Participate in performance improvement and evidence-based initiatives
