Schedule/Hours:

  • Night shifts: 6:30pm-7:00am
  • Includes one weekend (Saturday and Sunday) per schedule

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Respiratory Therapy preferred
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (NBRC-RRT) and Respiratory Care Professional (RCP) credentials required
  • Active BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications (or eligibility within 180 days)
  • Minimum 6 months critical care experience required
  • Background in emergency department and pediatric care advantageous
  • Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and administer targeted respiratory therapies
  • Oversee ventilator management, airway care (including intubation, extubation, and trach tube care)
  • Interpret waveforms, analyze arterial blood gases, and plan care collaboratively
  • Educate patients, new employees, and students; support professional development
  • Maintain rigorous safety and documentation standards, promoting evidence-based practice
