Schedule/Hours:

• Night shift: 6:30pm – 7:00am
• Rotation includes one weekend (Saturday and Sunday) per schedule

Required Qualifications:

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (NBRC-RRT)
• Respiratory Care Professional (RCP) license
• BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications (instructor credentials accepted)
• NRP certification (or to be obtained within 180 days)
• Minimum of 6 months’ critical care experience required (emergency department, pediatric experience highly valued)
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and team collaboration skills
• Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy (bachelor’s preferred)

Primary Responsibilities:

• Independently assess, plan, and administer respiratory care in complex critical care settings
• Initiate and manage ventilator protocols and airway management (intubation, extubation, trach care)
• Administer medications, oxygen therapy, aerosol treatments, and provide patient/family education
• Mentor new team members and participate in staff development
• Ensure accurate documentation and promote high standards of patient safety
• Assist in invasive/non-invasive procedures and pulmonary diagnostics
