Key Qualifications:

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (NBRC-RRT) & Respiratory Care Professional (RCP) credentials
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy preferred
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications (required or obtainable within 180 days)
• 6 months of critical care experience, with 0–2 years clinical experience minimum
• Critical Care, Emergency Department, and Pediatric experience essential
• Effective communicator with strong assessment and critical thinking skills
• Proficient in electronic documentation and team-based patient care

Core Responsibilities:

• Administer respiratory medications and therapies, including ventilator management and airway interventions
• Practice independent, evidence-based decision-making in complex patient care situations
• Educate patients, families, and staff; mentor new hires and students
• Perform and analyze arterial blood gases and support invasive/non-invasive procedures
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to plan and deliver optimal care
• Ensure accurate documentation and uphold safety standards
