Qualifications:
- Active credentials as a Respiratory Therapist (RT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- Current state license to practice
- Previous clinical experience in a hospital or healthcare facility setting preferred
- Proficiency with respiratory therapy equipment and ventilation methods
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and in a collaborative team setting
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and deliver therapeutic interventions for patients with respiratory disorders
- Monitor patient progress, adjust care plans, and document treatments accurately in medical records
- Administer oxygen therapy, chest physiotherapy, aerosol treatments, and manage mechanical ventilation
- Educate patients and family members on respiratory care procedures and techniques
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care
- Maintain compliance with all relevant regulations and best practices for patient safety
