Registered Respiratory Therapist - Fayetteville, WV

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
• Active Respiratory Care Practitioner license
• Previous experience in acute or critical care environments strongly preferred
• Solid knowledge of respiratory equipment and therapeutic techniques
• Ability to assess, plan, and administer appropriate respiratory interventions
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred

Responsibilities:

• Conduct patient assessments and develop suitable respiratory care plans
• Administer therapeutic procedures, including oxygen therapy, aerosol treatments, and ventilator management
• Monitor, evaluate, and record patient progress, adjusting therapies as needed
• Collaborate with physicians and multi-disciplinary teams to optimize patient care
• Educate patients and families on respiratory health and equipment use
• Ensure all respiratory equipment is maintained and operates according to safety standards
• Respond rapidly to emergency situations and participate in resuscitation efforts when necessary
• Maintain precise documentation to meet regulatory and hospital standards

$1,912 - $2,022/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
