Registered Respiratory Therapist - Hamilton, OH

Key Qualifications:

• Current certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) required
• Active state licensure in good standing
• Recent clinical experience in respiratory therapy within a hospital or acute care setting
• Proficiency in performing and interpreting diagnostic respiratory procedures
• Skilled in operating and maintaining respiratory therapy equipment
• Ability to work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
• Strong documentation and patient assessment skills
• BLS and ACLS certifications preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, and administer respiratory therapy treatments to patients with respiratory illnesses or disorders
• Manage and monitor airway devices, ventilators, and oxygen therapy systems
• Conduct arterial blood gas analysis and pulmonary function testing
• Provide emergency respiratory care, including CPR and airway management, as needed
• Educate patients and their families regarding respiratory treatments and home care
• Maintain accurate, timely medical records and comply with policy, procedure, and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to create and implement patient care plans
• Participate in rounds, report patient progress, and communicate any changes in condition

$2,178 - $2,304/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
