Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) | Hialeah, Florida

A contract opportunity is available for an experienced Respiratory Therapist to deliver high-quality care in a dynamic hospital environment. This position requires either a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential and will provide essential bedside support for patients with respiratory conditions.

Schedule:

• 13-week contract
• Night shifts: 3x12s per week

Qualifications:

• Current CRT or RRT certification accepted
• Active Florida Respiratory Care license (must be uploaded in your profile)
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS preferred if available (all certifications must be included in your submission)
• Graduation from an accredited respiratory therapy program (college diploma or transcripts required for submission)
• Not eligible for candidates local to Broward, Dade, Palm Beach, or Monroe counties

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and specialized respiratory care procedures based on physician orders and clinical protocols
• Operate and manage a range of life-support and respiratory equipment
• Accurately monitor, assess, and document patient responses to respiratory therapy
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary care teams to ensure continuity of care
• Uphold facility and state regulatory standards, maintaining strict adherence to safety guidelines
