Registered Respiratory Therapist - Hialeah, Florida

Required Schedule:

• Three 12-hour night shifts per week
• Specific days to be determined during the interview process

Qualifications:

• Current certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)
• Active State of Florida Respiratory Care license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications
• Completion of an accredited respiratory programs, with college diploma or transcripts required for submission
• Applicants must not reside in Broward, Dade, or Palm Beach counties
• Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills
• Quick adaptability to a variety of clinical settings

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive respiratory assessments, treatments, and interventions for patients across all age groups
• Operate, monitor, and maintain various types of respiratory equipment and ventilators
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to develop and execute patient care plans
• Administer oxygen therapies, nebulization, airway management, and other respiratory modalities as prescribed
• Respond effectively to emergencies, including code situations and rapid response calls
• Accurately document all care provided, following regulatory and facility protocols
