Registered Respiratory Therapist - Hillsdale, Michigan

Seeking a skilled and dedicated professional to provide exceptional care as a Respiratory Therapist within a respected healthcare environment. Hours/Schedule:

Key Qualifications:

• Current credentials as a Respiratory Therapist (RT) and Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) required.
• Valid state licensure to practice as a respiratory care professional.
• Proven experience in acute care or hospital settings is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of respiratory therapy modalities, equipment, and protocols.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within interdisciplinary care teams.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification highly preferred.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, and implement effective respiratory therapy interventions for patients with cardiopulmonary disorders.
• Administer treatments, therapies, and medications as prescribed by physicians or care protocols.
• Operate and monitor respiratory equipment such as ventilators, BiPAP/CPAP devices, and oxygen delivery systems.
• Respond promptly to emergency situations, performing airway management and resuscitation as needed.
• Document all care provided and communicate patient responses, progress, and changes to the appropriate medical staff.
• Educate patients and families on respiratory care techniques and home care equipment when required.
