Respiratory Therapist (RT) in Homestead, FL

Schedule:

• 3 shifts of 12 hours each week
• Night shifts

Qualifications:

• Current credentials as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)
• Active State of Florida respiratory care license
• Valid BLS and ACLS certifications
• Graduation from an accredited respiratory program with college diploma or transcripts available
• Applicants must reside outside of Broward, Dade, or Palm Beach counties
• Ready to begin in the role as soon as possible

Responsibilities:

• Deliver respiratory therapy treatments in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate and optimize patient care
• Assess and monitor patient progress, making care adjustments as required
• Educate patients and families about respiratory therapies and equipment
• Adhere strictly to hospital policies, respiratory care standards, and infection control guidelines
