Respiratory Care in Key Biscayne, FL

An exciting contract opportunity is available for skilled respiratory professionals to deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. This key role centers on providing essential respiratory therapy services and collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Schedule:

• 13-week contract
• Three 12-hour shifts per week
• Night shifts

Qualifications:

• Active Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification preferred, if available
• State of Florida Respiratory License required
• College diploma or transcripts (must be included in application materials)
• Candidates must not reside in Broward, Dade, Palm Beach, or Monroe counties

Responsibilities:

• Assess and treat patients with respiratory disorders following physician orders
• Administer oxygen therapy, inhaled medications, and mechanical ventilation as appropriate
• Monitor and document patient progress and therapeutic outcomes
• Collaborate with medical staff and other allied health professionals to ensure optimal care
• Educate patients and their families about respiratory care and at-home management
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date clinical records in compliance with facility and regulatory requirements
